imagine where this team would be if he was playing like we all thought he would. glad to be proven wrong
Adam Lind would have replaced him by now and we'd be fine.

Got his hands up around his ears again. He'll never break the habit.

Gio connections?

I forgot all about that Gio stuff. Biogenesis.

And Gio said, “Let there be biogenetically repaired shoulders,” and there was a bounced throw from 1st to the pitchers mound.

Posted this in the GDT yesterday that how long will it take Murph to surpass Zim for the team lead in BA? Zim is batting .346 and Murph .342. For those that are mathematically challenged its .004 points.:)

.207/.226/.414 since he hurt his back. Needs a nice long trip to the DL. WAke him up in August.

Wake him up in August and make a run for the wild card?

Last night he was exposed again as a choker in RISP situations and an armless 1B on the bunt that squeezed in a run. Maddom really knows how to go after our weaknesses.

Tim Tebow is better.  Hitting .220.

Danny Espinosa is doing better than that lately...

Odds he finishes batting under .300 for the season?

How far under are we talking about?  He's at .340 after last night and we're just about at the half way point.

Does a tie count? Both at .340

I suppose it's possible that he could hit .260 the rest of the year, especially if he gets injured. But barring that, I think it's unlikely because there are concrete reasons for his improvement and it doesn't seem to be luck. Plus, he's had some swoons in production earlier in season, everyone in here says he's coming back to earth and then he picks it up again.

Hitting .275 in June - we all knew he was due to regress, but at this point a .797 OPS in a bad month is fine by me.

Watching Zimm's comeback this year has been a joy. That's all.

Agreed. If he can OPS .775 or more the rest of the season, I can live with that.
