Drew Smyly, Danny Duffy, Sam Dyson and Mark Melancon also come to mind.

Who knows if that's the cause though, because Stroman is as good as ever, and so is Givens.  But if the Home Run Derby can mess up a batter's swing, there shouldn't be any surprise that a big deviation from a training program (like the WBC represents) could possibly mess up a pitcher's game.

Lugo was not only an over-achiever last season, but had a partial tear prior to going to the WBC
Smyly got hurt pitching. Probably happens at any time, especially given his history.
Danny Duffy was pitching fine until he strained an olbique.
Dyson is a reliever, so they're expected to self destruct. Who predicted Blanton and Kelley would pitch like crap?
Melancon has been due for regression for a while now. It's why I didn't want to sign him in the offseason.

Should be on next plane to Syracuse to try to work things out down there. Can't afford his rehab up here. WBC is a convenient excuse. He's been bad before (in other years). Right now, he's throwing BP.
