I didn't know that story.  Merrill Reese is the only voice of the Eagles that I have ever known. I just assumed he had been there forever.

Eagles got screwed in the Josh McDaniels fall out. They lose Frank Reich to Indy. Meanwhile the Vikings signed their QB coach DeFilippo as OC. If they had lost Reich earlier they could have promoted DeFilippo who was the guy they really wanted to keep. freak McDaniels. I hope Brady is hurt next year and he has to roll with Brian Hoyer.

I’m happy Reich got a chance to coach. It’s not quite as big a loss as it might be because Pedersen calls the plays. But it’s a big loss nonetheless.
