the QB situation is indeed horrible.  Once you get past Manning and Rodgers, there isn't much else.   Prescott is about the only up and coming QB to watch right now.

I don't get the love for Kapernick though, the guy was horrible his last couple of seasons.

Uh, that was supposed to be "Brady."  I was in Omaha this week so I had Manning on the brain.  The airport even sells shirts that say "Omaha Omaha."

Luck achieved the impossible and seems to be a bust, Russell Wilson seems to be regressing, and the young guys are a pile of maybe- I think Prescott really benefited from a phenomenal running game. Then again, I'm basically checked out already- I have other stuff to do on Sunday and the NFL just isn't very compelling anymore- I despise the commissioner and my team's owner and gm, my team has no realistic shot at a championship, and going to a game is misery

They are competing with your team for a berth in the BB Invitational. 

In all seriousness, the Pats in the AFC East are almost like the Nats in the NL East.  It is a huge advantage to start the season knowing that, absent a series of catastrophic injuries or suspensions, you have a pass into the post-season and a decent shot at a bye in the wild card round.  KC, Denver, Oakland, Pittsburgh, Cinci, Balmer all have a much tougher route to even qualify let alone challenge for home field.  I can't figure the Texans / Colts division because it seems those teams come up short or do well almost at random.

I'm hoping Cam Newton bounces back as I have him on my fantasy team.

The guy in Cleveland looks like he might be decent.  Winston also made some strides last year.  But in a league where Blake Bortles is a starting QB, you've got some work to do.

Agreed. The Tannenhill injury takes the only team that posed an actual threat out of the running, imo. The North is a two team race to me. South is up in the air because noone can figure out the QB position. West will be Raiders/Chiefs, with the Donkies and LA fighting for last place!

That wasn't about Brady and his age but the media will ride that horse because it gives them something to talk about. The chiefs were very physical up front (on both sides of the line of scrimmage) and matched up well in coverage. It didn't help that the patriots got stuffed twice on 4th and 1.

Yeah, not what I was insinuating. Just was annoying as freak to hear Collinsworth going on and on about it.

With as much time as Brady got, I'm surprised they didn't score more. They were running at will until they gave it up for the deep ball.
