Sunshine Squad 2017 - Who Needs a Closer Anyway?
« Topic Start: February 23, 2017, 12:37:40 PM »
Ten reasons to be optimistic:

1. A full season of Trea Turner
2. Harper is due to bounce back
3. Maybe the best CF in Nats history in Eaton
4. Still the best starting rotation in the NL
5. We have to break the odd-year curse eventually
6. Werth's last year, he'll do everything he can to win one this season
7. Rendon healthy for a whole year
8. Zimmerman: .353 / .450 / .471 in the playoffs last year
9. Lind > Clint
10. Weiters should be solid behind the dish, and maybe the best #8 hitter in the NL

And a bonus #11. Espinosa won't be striking out for us

Keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeriste.

I like trying to guess how much alcohol mitlen has consumed by estimating the number of e's in Keeeriste.

I've always preferred the "e" at the end to signify a long "i" pronunciation.      Kerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrris t would sound too much like the ex-governor of Florida.     As a matter of fact, I prefer a two syllable pronunciation as in "key-riste".

Werth ends his D.C. career with a ring. Nobody shows up to the White House.

I was thinking 92 wins preseason. Probably low balled it. :smh:

Pretty sure anyone not the NLEast will have something to say about that...

Bullpen might not be so bad. We're gonna win the pennant.

And that includes one or two games that they flat out gave away with the bullpen mess early on.

We've got a top 3 offense and top 3 starting rotation(throw out the Guthrie start).
