yeah Chelsea Janes tweeted that his arm is black and blue and looks terrible thats why he was pulled. Coming back too fast.

He bounced a foul off his foot pretty hard yesterday, apparently right on the site of an earlier injury. Looked pretty painful and in the post game interview he said there was some swelling. He'll probably sit tomorrow too, knowing Dusty's usual approach to injury management.

I love the chance to let Goodwin get starts for a stretch, though our bench is getting pretty thin.  Before the season started I wanted Goodwin over Taylor.  Taylor has impressed but I'm still on the Goodwin bandwagon (until he gets exposed fully).

Lind needs to get as many AB's as possible but I'd rather he be getting them in lieu of Goodwin than Zimmm.  Or PH in high leverage situations (which are often not in the 9th inning).
