Blanton threw 1 perfect inning with 2 Ks in his rehab outing on the 8th, he hasn't pitched since as far as I can tell.

Per Chelsea Janes, Adam Eaton has full extension in his knee and rehab is ahead of schedule.

Lind needs to get as many AB's as possible but I'd rather he be getting them in lieu of Goodwin than Zimmm.  Or PH in high leverage situations (which are often not in the 9th inning).

Lind is a luxury we need in two places.

Stephen Drew to shortstop, Tres Turner to LF

Then who PHes?

Honestly, I don't mind this slightly extended look at Goodwin. Werth will be back soon enough.

Glover now saying his shoulder was hurting first and he thinks he hurt his back trying compensate for the shoulder.  WTH?  He ain't coming back for a while.

"Glover said he’s happy to be able to lift and move his arm now".  Well, that's a beginning, I guess.

What the hell was he doing in that shower?
Cuffing his rotators severely.

Having strained my rotator cuff from marathon swimming, it takes a lot of rest to get it to calm down and a very slow ramping up of activity to avoid setbacks.  Mine wasn't anywhere nearly so bad that I couldn't move or lift my arm and the recovery period was months.  Of course I don't have access to the type of medical and training staff that MLB'ers do, so hopefully it won't be as long.

I was thinking the same thing when I wrote that, although it doesn't seem to be as bad as prior years, maybe just luck.  Didn't Rizzo or somebody say they had made significant changes in the medical/training area?
