Not the same kind of squash as Mathguy is thinking of.

Tried this tonight for supper.  Prior to tonight, I've only had summer squash because I had no idea how to prepare the other types of squash.  I thought it was very good.  Had a mild and kind of buttery taste to it.  Went well with the grilled asparagus and salmon I fixed. 

I prepare my salmon using the rub shown below and throw a chunk of maple wood on the grill to give it a very well suited smokey flavor that's not over-powering.
