I saw earlier the tigers have shed something like $160 million in payroll.  Too bad they couldn't find a place to send JZ.

I hope JZ and Miggy are friends because it sounds like they will be the last two hanging out together. Maybe they can adopt Nick Castellanos.

Red Sox lost to the Yankees last night, 6-2.  CC Sabathia started.  Apparently, in the course of the game, Eduardo Nunez bunted.  CC took exception to that because he was just coming off the DL from a knee injury.  Jim Rice does not agree and made a comment rivaling Terry O'Reilly's comment about Don Koharski.

I will never be able to look at chicken, donuts, or burgers quite the same way.

The entire Red Sox lineup should have been bunting...

Marcus stroman hit in the elbow of his pitching arm by a comebacker. Looked bad.

Wilmer Flores hit himself in the face with a foul ball while batting.  didn't even hit the ground first; straight off the bat into the face. Broken nose. The video is easy to find but it has a LOT of blood so you might not really want to watch it.

You would think that might be common but I don't think I've ever seen it.

Marlins Man involved in fight at Red Sox- Yankees game, may have been ejected. https://twitter.com/kennyducey/status/904535109428236288 (Ducey works for Sports Illustrated)

There are some people tweeting that this may have started over Marlins Man and his Red Sox fan friend taking a selfie during a moment of silence before the 7th Inning Stretch, angering nearby fans, but who knows if that's true or not.

I hate that guy and it would fill my black heart with glee if he were to get his ass kicked for taking a selfie.

Pardon My Take's podcast tomorrow will have an exclusive interview with him, I'll be curious what he says happened.
