The new Zelda is the best game I've ever played. It's that good.

Welp, with my refurbished 1060 6Gb came a code for Ghost Recon, so I've been playing that.

While simplistic and repetitive, I have to admit, there is something oddly satisfying about shooting drug dealers in the head

Thinking of picking up a Raspberry Pi and making an arcade setup. Anyone used on?

Necro posting, but yes.  I have a rPi 3 running RetroPie

Life got busy. Maybe I'll try to sit down with this idea again over the summer

Picked up Witcher 3 on Cyber Monday for $17 bucks on PS4. It included all the DLC. I've put in over 72 hours in under a month. :( Best part is I'm only a level 23 so I've got plenty of game to go. I'm obsessed with Gwent. Excited they're making a standalone version, as well.

For Christmas I got The Division, NHL 17 and Battlefield 1. I'll be quite busy for the next few months gaming!

For those of you who like Gwent, gog.com now has the standalone available in Open Beta. Free to sign up if you're not a member.
(also, this is technically the 2016 thread but didn't seem active enough to start a new one.)

*edit: As an added bonus, if you subscribe to the GOG newsletter, they're throwing in a free copy of the original Witcher: Enchanced Edition.  It's a bit dated in graphics but still solid game and story.

Shadow of Mordor is a fun as hell game that is an absolute steal at $4. I loved it. Gameplay is pretty easy to master and you get super strong by the end but it's still really fun and satisfying.

So pretty much all my wish list went on sale.

Pick the top 5 of these games I should buy out of the below list. All are at what I deem an acceptable price point.

Crysis trilogy
Game of Thrones Telltale series
Batman telltale series
Quantum Break
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Doom
Sniper 3
Mafia 3
Rainbow Six Siege
Shadow of War
Sniper Elite 4
Batman Arkham Asylum/City/Origins/Knight
Metal Gear Solid V (both)
Home front Revolution
Assassin's Creed Origins

If the batman Arkham games are one bundle, absolutely make it one of your five. Very worth it. If it's all four individually, harder to say you should ignore all other games but 1.

Any serious Smash Brothers players out there?  My son plays and wrote a program to automate spreadsheet tracking of tournament results and standings.

Apparently lots of players create their own trackers so he wrote one to automate some of the work.
