Nate heading straight for New Orleans as at least a Cat-1 storm hitting on Saturday night. SHIPS model showing potential for rapid intensification before landfall, but the NHC doesn't think it will happen.
NHC should have listened to the SHIPPS model sooner, their latest update says that Nate will hit around the LA/MS border as a Cat-2 storm.
ah ok, looks like it could graze New Orleans before travelling through Mobile Bay. Well I don't think it's going to be much more than a quick windy downpour but we shall see.
Still time to hit the hair dresser before the winds kick up.
Looks like hurricane hit just east of New Orleans - how is Pensacola Skippy ?
A little windy, that's about it thankfully.
How's your hair?
