They weren't just playing the first Boston album. All Boston albums sounded exactly the same. :D

If you gotta go, going with your boots on like this is preferable in my opinion.

in reading the news story about it, it mentions that his daughter has a child with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

ha you're right, I was thinking of "Don't look back" last night but that was their second album that sounded...exactly like their first

Agree w/the sentiment that dying doing what you love is optimal but man, 67 doesn't sound all that old anymore :(

No it doesn't sound old, does it. But the rock star lifestyle takes it's toll. Unless you're a Rolling Stone, apparently.

I'm pretty sure Keith Richards injected himself with embalming fluid years ago and is actually an immortal zombie/mummy hybrid.

I could be wrong, but I think he was more about the art than the lifestyle. But yeah, he looks and sounds great.

Clapton is still looking good.

Wasn't he a heroin addict  ...  cocaine and alcohol abuser?    He was simply lucky and came out the other end intact.    Start on page 133 of his autobiography Clapton or page 211.

I think "don't look back" was on their second album.  At the time, most of us thought they were asking us not to look back because we'd see they had already done the song on the first album.

Peace of Mind is still my favorite Boston song.

Boston had some ugly history between Tom Scholz and a number of band members. Scholz was 85% of the talent, but he would have been a head-strong talented guy who could not get session gigs but for Delp, Goodreau, and the others.  But, Boston was Scholz.

Scholz and his electronics--engineered a great sound.

Todd Frohwirth, submariner pitcher for Phillies, O's, Red Sox, and Angels. He was only 54.  Stomach cancer. Way too young.

I remember watching him many years ago at an Orioles game when the umpire tossed him for some reason. He was so angry that he threw a major fit, throwing his glove, his cap, and the ball all over the field. The funniest thing was that he submarined them all when he threw them.

Sad and funny all rolled into one.

Reminds me of Livo having a meltdown one night at RFK...he threw everything (hat, jacket, glove, maybe even shoes) up into the stands.  IIRC the team had to bribe the person who caught the glove to return it

I remember that happening.    Couldn't remember that it was Livo.    :)
