Cable TV's COZI channel is airing selected episodes of The Dick Van Dyke Show, all featuring Mary Tyler Moore, today Sunday Jan 29 from 1:00 pm ET through 5:00 pm. The series finale, "The Last Chapter," is at 4:30 pm. Except for brief scenes at beginning and end, the final episode consists solely of repeated scenes from three earlier episodes.

I though he was frikkin hilarious when I was a kid. Reminds me a lot of the pseudo intellectuals I've met in real life as an adult.

Not quite as famous as others, but since we probably have some Syracuse folks on the board, Fab Melo passed away in Brazil at age 26.

George "The Animal" Steele has died, he was 79.  Famous for eating turnbuckles, for most of his career he only wrestled in the summer as he was a high school PE teacher.

Went to my niece's family's home yesterday.    She explained to me who Paxton was and I explained to her who Wapner was.
