You know, I defended Danny for a long time, but this guy....this is not my kind of guy.
We've seen him make adjustments just long enough to know he's capable of doing it, but then he just goes back to that long-ass swing that generates so many strikeouts.
I'm glad another fanbase has to watch him pull this fake hard on himself routine, while he learns absolutely nothing.
and yet, he's hitting .230, driving in a ton of runs, and fielding well. He is what he is. He's never going to be the guy you want when a little contact is needed, but those aren't the aspects of his game that keep him a starter in the majors.
