He's got his own personal elevator and you're calling
him dumb.
We had one for around 18 years before we had to put him down. He was the smartest cat I've ever owned. He played fetch and liked to be chased around the house. He'd even chase after you if you ran away.
One of our current two is also a black cat and is the most affectionate, gentlest cat I've ever owned, but he's dumb as a box of rocks. He'll climb on a counter stool to watch you put food in his bowl. But when you put it on the floor for him, he sits on the stool looking lost. Sometimes he figures it out, sometimes I have to carry him to his food.
