Omgosh I was thinking this earlier when he was on Mike and Mike, he is excellent at it! He is charming and funny and knowledgeable and completely at ease, he should have people fighting to hire him.

What do we think of the Indians starting their ace on short rest in Game 4? Apparently he did it in the ALCS with no ill effect.

That's why Francona pulled him early in game one

True, especially when you don"t "have to play guys because of their contracts."

Wonder how Francona would deal with some of our "issues".    I get the sense he'd push back on some of Rizzo's ideas/moves and play who he wanted regardless of a contract.     Perhaps he'd have a quicker trigger on the day to day lineup changes.     One of our dual loyalty fans from Boston could shed more light on his managing style as it might relate to our team.

I want to hear Will Ferrell do his Harry Caray imitation instead of Joe Buck.

Yes, he does.    However, I don't think "status" ever meant much to him speaking his mind.

That's true.    I believe it is possible to say what you think without pissin' off the boss.    Worked for me for 40 years.
