I can't believe anyone can possibly think that Darling is any good. I was just thinking that he is as bad as Ripken. At least Ripken has the excuse that he hasn't been doing this for 12 years.

SO...on the positive side, both my favorite teams made the playoffs !  on the negative side, well, the Nats choked again, and can never get past the first round; and, equally sadly for there 'effort', the Jays lost in utter pathetic fashion to a rookie pitcher, and to bullpen scrubs...

I've never experienced Blue Jays fans firsthand, but I'd guess that they are.  I haven't heard a lot of bad things about Jays fans before this year, whereas I've heard crap about Cubs fans for some time.  There was a poster here (NatsAddict) who detested Cubs fans.  I didn't know how annoying they were until I actually went to a Cubs-Nats game myself.

Think about it Knorr, cubs fans are very similar to red sox fans so that would explain why skippy would be cool with the cubs.
