What will I do with all the Polish internet hats they gave away on Poland night?
I still have the little action figure they did of him.

Start drinking Luksusowa vodka.

[Poland's finest, the world's second-best - surprisingly low price too]

Am I the only person who thinks we paid too much for Otto Porter?

Sure, what's the alternative if you want a team next year at least as good as this year

The thing is that the goal should be winning championships, not being a pretty good also-ran.  John Wall and Bradley Beal are already on max contracts and teams generally can't carry more than three without seriously hurting their depth.  Committing those resources to Otto Porter pretty much assures us that the core of Wall-Beal-Porter is what we're betting a championship run on.  I don't think that gets you close with the Warriors and Cavs to contend with.

what is the alternative, the closest that they've come to assembling a championship team was clearing space for a guy who wouldn't even give them a sit down. Heyward certainly didn't bother considering us- is there a marquee free agent that I'm forgetting who we have a shot at? As long as beal and wall are here, there's no shot at the kind of draft pick that can vault them, they didn't have assets to deal to get a paul George or a jimmy buttler.

It is what it is. They have no replacement lined up. In a couple years the contract will look like a bargain.

Very true. The good news is they are in the top part of that middle pack.

This. ^

Not sure why they would have traded off assets to get Paul George for one year anyway. They would still lose to Cleveland and maybe even Boston.

Had always seen this guy at Wizards games handing out stat sheets and wondered who he was.

6'8 skinny black guy? Dukes will probably be asking if he thinks he can get on the field this year

One wonders...all he ever seems to talk about is the Redskins, WWE and UFC.

He was a great player until his knee blew out.  Then, he had to be open to hit his patented J.
