Should be a good season for cheap stubhub tix!  Looking forward to the home opener vs Toronto anyway.  Let's go Wiz.

I am out of town but have read that they will not accept PDF files at the gate; so you have to have paper tickets or electronic which might put a damper on stub hub and especially near game time?
Probably same for the Caps.

Rising still?

Oh yeah. No more pdf tickets.  They don't exist.  Mobile and card stock only.  Ted's pushing people towards ticket exchange over stubhub.  Gotta get that nut

Great timing, right before a season that's already getting a giant meh from most casual fans

You know I've never tried to use that but I'm sure I have the capability with the phone that I have.  May even make it easier if I decide on a whim to go to the game and don't have access to a printer

Anyway, I'm sitting here looking at this roster and I don't who who like half of these guys are.   I forgot Mahinmi is a Wiz now.  I wonder how he'll do in that backup role to the Polish Machine.

Wait. what

Not sure what happens if you but a single game ticket,  but pretty sure STH can't create pdfs. thus much less listing on stubhub. It eliminates the stubhub game time purchase.  Any last minute econdary market purchase online is now all directed through ticketmaster cuz of this.  I understand where they are coming from.  Just ted trying to avoid another lockout

They have more depth than last year. Nicholson, Mahinmi, Burke are all decent players and look out for Satoransky. Key to the season as usual is Beal staying healthy. And Oubre taking a step forward. I don't think Otto will ever improve much.

It's always something with the Bullets. Probably will be 4-6 months.

DC rising?  Yeah, maybe like an improperly baked cake.

The rise has nothing behind it and leads to a big implosion.

Well, this game was close for a little while.

Multi-tasking and it's 73 up.    Turned back a little later and we're down by 13.    Buck referred to it in the post game but there's a lot of "new" guys in that second unit.

The second unit is weak--they need to give Satoransky a shot instead of Burke.  And cut Thornton and replace him with anyone.

made a wrong turn looking for the "former Terps in NBA" thread, and ended up here.

Jake Layman had a pretty nice debut for the Trailblazers.

Quote
It took less than eight minutes Tuesday night, in what was essentially mop-up duty of a 23-point blowout loss at home to the Golden State Warriors, for the former Maryland forward to go from an obscure second-round draft pick to an NBA record-holder.

And Twitter trend-setter.

And fan favorite at the Moda Center.

... He finished with 17 points in less than eight minutes in his official NBA debut.

It was the most points by a Trail Blazer in his NBA debut since the team’s current star, former first-round draft pick Damian Lillard, scored 23 in 38 minutes against the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2012.

Layman’s five three-pointers tied him with Donyell Marshall for most in NBA history for a rookie making his debut. Layman was one made 3-pointer shy of Cliff Robinson’s team record in a quarter.

Isn't there an NBA thread 2016-2017?
