I missed the game, as I was at work, and it's sad to say that I didn't have a good feeling about the game, anyways, with the sad history of this team not being able to get things done.

and, even more sadly, I have to say that it says volumes to see 'harper's' box score in an important game, and how pathetic it is, especially when you see the rookie's box score just ahead of him !

Disappointing loss of course but it was a fun game and I'm honestly not that down about it. I figured this was going 5 to begin with, so far this series has gone exactly how I said(lose game 1, win game 2 and 3, lose a wild game 4). Now Scherzer will come in dominate game 5 and we'll see you guys in Wrigley for game 1 of the NLCS.

The Didgers had some questionable calls go against them but I thought the first pitch strike Blanton hot against Rendon was the key. Was clearly outside. Could be a different at bat if called a ball. Oh well.

Nats are the fourth-best NL team in the playoffs so we're lucky to still have a shot at moving on. Unfortunately we have too many smelly turds like Bryce Harper on this team to have any shot at winning a game 5.

I know we need to move on from last night but that one hurt because of the number of free passes they issued. Half of their base runners (7) reached base via walk or HBP. You're not going to win games handing out free base runners. You have to make them earn their way on base or you're freaked!
