Been there a few times. If son in law gets to go to the conference he wants daughter will join him. And invited us. Very preliminary. My preference would be to sit around the hotel but they will want to see things.

the only thing I really balked at was a snorkeling trip on a catamaran because I hate boats and wanted to chill by the pool drinking and reading but my son mom-guilted me so I went and it was really a great trip, so I say go see stuff-you can sit around the house all winter
