SMH?
WTF... Zimmerman chases ball 3 and then strikes out on a pitch right down the middle. SMH

Doesn't the runner have the right-of-way?

Well it was a popup on the infield. The ball drifted back to fair territory and Fielder went right into the baseline. Young tried his best to avoid him but couldn't, so Fielder missed the ball.

The runner must avoid interfering with the fielder making the play. It was an irrelevant call because it was going to be an out either way.

I think the runner has to make an attempt to avoid the fielder. Had this argument with my son (who never met a third baseman that he thought should be on his feet).

Last Play: D. Young out on batter's interference  WTF YOUNG.

Even better, Young is playing first base.  He is called out for running into the Brewers first baseman, when he of all people should know better.  He doesn't have the right of way, because every batter would plow into the first baseman otherwise, to make him drop the popup.  YOUNG COMMITS AN ERROR WHILE HE'S BATTING!

Maybe he thought he might get away with it? I what's he got to lose? It's an out either way.

yawn.. I agree with 2K6, these games have been really boring lately.  Last year the team was semi-competitive and Zimmerman and Soriano were fun to watch.  At this point, the only games that are even remotely interesting are the games in which Shawn Hill pitches in.

Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE at any level.  0-2 count to the pitcher and he throws him a strike.
