Haven't seen any of that series but think I will stay up tonight and watch game 5. Should be a good one.

Penguins are on tonight.       :poke:

Oh yea. But the other game is the late one. Montreal and the Rangers seems a better early game to watch.

Is this the first year the two number one seeds will have lost?  :couch:

Just learned that Trotz is 54.  I was stunned - thought he was almost 70 or something.

He will be 60 by the time this series is over.

Paul Maurice is 50 and has been an NHL coach (off and on) for 22+ of those years

At least Chicago can take solace in the NBA playoffs where it looks like they'll knock off a #1.

That's part of why I was surprised about Trotz.  Puts him at about 35 when he started the Preds' gig.  Imagine being a pro coach for almost all of your adult life.  No wonder Trotz has a head of hair like a 70 year-old.

Sharks are out.  Changing of the guard in the west.

The Sharks are much like the Caps. Although they did make the finals last year.

Making the playoffs 19 times in their 25 year history ain't too bad.  I went to their first ever game (they lost).

Those games are draining to watch, let alone attend.  Plus they shut off the beer after the second regulation period, so one has to plan accordingly.

Pageau had a helluva game...4 goals, including the one to send it to OT, and the OT winner...

Oilers up 2-0 on the ducks, winning the first two in Anaheim.  Amazing.
