Blackhawks are throttling the Pinguins in The Steel City...

We like that.

Something about that rubs me the wrong way.

Said Ovi had done everything for the franchise...it would be wrong for the franchise to not do this for him...

I understand his position but it still doesn't sit right  ...  somehow.     I suppose it'll pass.    :)   Hell, I'll probably forget and you'll have to explain it again next year.

Looks like hockey is free this week as well.    All kinds of games on.

Too much to watch. Will focus on the Wizards. And Nats when it restarts.

I was peekin' at the Pens and Jackets' games.     Wiz need a blowout and some rest.

Looking forward to the Columbus-Pittsburg series (I spelled it wrong intentionally to get Mitlen's attention). Should be able to watch it on the Fox Sports Ohio local feed or at least some of the games there. That way I can avoid Pierre and some of the other NBC drones. Columbus has really slipped the last few weeks but maybe they can put it together. And Bobrovsky is good in goal. Flyers made a major mistake in trading him.

Final NHL game tonight for Bryan Bickell. He was diagnosed with MS at the beginning of the season and has understandably decided to hang up his skates. Good luck to him.

Thanks.

He got a ring from the Hawks in 2010 for their first Cup since 1961, but his name is not on the Cup for 2010 due to the number of games played.  It is on the Cup for 2013 and 2015...

He guided them to Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014, but they have missed the playoffs 2 of the past 3 years.

Highly regarded...he'll get picked up by someone...if he want to still coach.
