Is there any reason to watch USA/Czech?  I guess with no Nats game on, might as well.  It's either that or DVRed Bundesliga.

Just turned on Russia-Canada midway through the second. 2-2 after two. Exciting stuff.

Great goal. Batted it in out of the air.

I'll be surprised if Colsol still exists as a company in a couple years time.

Thinking the same thing.

"Consol is one of many energy companies in western Pennsylvania to report losses in recent earnings reports. Consol reported a $470 million loss in the second quarter earlier this year, compared to a $603 million loss in the second quarter last year.

The company announced last year it would lay off more than 400 workers because of the downturn in both industries, although officials did announce in July it was resuming drilling in the Marcellus and Utica shales."

Took less than 22 minutes into his first ever NHL game for Austin Matthews to score a hat trick.

It's a special night on NBC Sports.  Ed Olcyzk is not there so they have Pierre McGuire in the booth.  So, we get to hear even more of him.  Joe Buck and McGuire on the same night.  Doesn't get better than that.

If he and Buck were in the same booth, there'd be no air.    They'd suck it all out.

Columbus beats Montreal to give them their first loss of the season. Not shocking but the score was. 10-0.

Team names really began to suck in the 90s. Why do the knights have to have a color associated with them.  What's wrong with just knights or even nights.   The color ads no value.  The only golden knights I can think of are the lannister army.
