Schmidty got a pretty good deal in arbitration...nice to see GMGM get it shoved up his backside...

Looked at Vegas Golden Knights tickets for the Blackhawks game in October.  Lower Bowl, behind the end line, 25 rows up.  $495 each!

That may be what the added handling fees were for...

Ain't Brooklyn on Long Island?      :couch:

Physically, it's on the same land mass, but that's about it.  I grew up on Long Island.  The Island consists of Nassau and Suffolk.  The "City" is Manhattan.  Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx aren't part of the Island.

Ah, "the" Island.     :)

What?

I'm not talking physical land mass.

Brooklyn isn't part of Long Island.  At least to an Islander.

Headed to the Flyers-BlueJackets game in Columbus Saturday.  Sitting about 15 rows behind the goal.  The wife will not like the cannon; will forget to mention it until right before the game.  One of these days I plan to take in a Cincinnati Cyclones game. That should be fun.

Let us know if you're wearin' Caps gear (;)).    We can look for ya.      Game could be on the NHL Network.

I probably should do that to really stick out. However I have a black Flyers shirt I will wear. Maybe I will wear a Nats hat to confuse people.

Enjoyed the game in Columbus last week. Nice arena. Lots of room to walk around before the game and between periods. The music however was excessively loud.

USA wearing Buffalo Bills look alike uniforms. They're doomed.

"in Italy, for thirty years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love, they had five hundred years of democracy and peace – and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock"

Bruins pick up Rick Nash for Ryan Spooner, Matt Beleskey, this year 1st round pick and a 7th in 2019. Earlier in the week, the Bs sent Rob O'Gara to the Rangers for for Nick Holden.   O'Gara went to a fine school.

I hate George McPhee with a passion. Ryan Reaves is a goon that does not fit into the vegas system. Now I know what you caps fans went through. He can't make a good trade deadline deal to save his life. He's always helping other teams. I don't know why he's helping the penguins. The rumor that he did it to block the jets from getting Brassard makes no sense. If Vegas plays the Jets then it would be in the WCF because there's no way the Jets are a wildcard team. I'm going to be so pissed if the pens hold the trophy this year.

Safety school...there isn't room for everyone at Spiedie State.

But what the hell are the Bruins doing?
