It won't be the same without the original cast but I still plan to see it at some point. I'm late to the craze and just got the soundtrack after the PBS special a few weeks ago. I've never heard anything it's equal.

but you didn't have Lin Manuel-Miranda back then ;)

We had the real Alexander Hamilton.    He was a young trooper in George's Army.

So I just got cast in a play that I have always wanted to do - and I got the role I wanted.

First read-thru is tonight!

No jinx.  I've already been given the part so as long as I don't go all diva and have the director fire me I should be all set.  No guarantees, though...  ;)

Sounds awesome - and I'm glad the answer wasn't 'Equus.'

If it were Equus, you'd be riding the horse from a different angle. :P

Who says it's not foreplay?  Just like soccer...  lot of kicks to the balls and nobody scores.

Going to Arena Stage this Friday night to see "Watch on the Rhine"
Four-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Marsha Mason (The Goodbye Girl) leads an ensemble cast as Fanny Farrelly in Lillian Hellman's suspenseful masterpiece Watch on the Rhine. With America on the brink of entering World War II, Fanny's daughter escapes to the D.C. suburbs with her German husband, a man deeply involved in anti-fascist movements. But with an Eastern European guest with ulterior motives also living in their midst, tensions rise as it becomes clear that no one's safety can be guaranteed — at home or abroad.
