Any.    I think Espi has the killer in him.

I agree with you mitlen. I also think Papelbon, Ramos and Harper would be good candidates. Still laughing at Werth. :lmao: Werth seems like a spoiled brat who's gotten his way with most people so he comes off a certain way but that doesn't translate into what would be required when the real crap hits the fan.

I guess the red's manager's pep talk didn't have desired effect.

I mean, if you could get separation, sure.

I'd take Espinosa with a garbage bag full of baseballs.

I'd want to be with Ramos.  Pretty sure I can out run him...

Buddy and I were in Arizona in '77 (not too far from the Grand Canyon) and there was a wolf (lobo  ...   probably a coyote) in the wood line.      There was an old guy (at that time) who got out of his car to take a picture.     My buddy says, "Go getta picture."    I sez, "It could be a wolf."    He sez, "Don't worry.   You can out run the old man."

Do I need to go find that GDT where you insisted that the blonde woman I picked out was an old dude?

(Of course, no one else saw her except mitlen, late in the game.)

So you were the one who wanted to play tummy sticks with that dude "chick". My policy is, if I can't decide on sight I'm calling dude.

Who's your pick?

If it's current players I go with Papelbon, Espinosa, Harper and Ramos in that order. But if it's all time then Guillen and Livan (because he would be packing iron ).

Now I'm mad at myself for not thinking of Papelbon or Livan.

Guy I LEAST want is Storen.

I'd pick Werth as the guy to have my back.

Harps wouldn't fight. Ramos has post traumatic stress disorder. Paps... good alternate pick. Danny's a gamer, but too small.

Over the years, I found that big and bad don't mean much in a set to.    Repeatin' here but I've often told my son, "You'd rather mess with a bad man than a crazy one."

I love Stras on this team  - but he would have strain or something wrong with his back or side  and go sit down on the curb......

It was fairly hot and humid here today, and it's cooled down (but still humid).

BTW, speaking of racking up the hits, Ichiro should reach the 3000 hit mark after the all star break.
