looks like he was in the Braves organization, made it to AA in 2014 with decent numbers, then took a step back repeating AA last year (ERA went from 2.08 to 3.99, K rate was 5.2 / 9, BB rate was 3/9) so ATL left him off the 40 man roster and I think he walked as a MiLFA. Still not a great K rate, but he's knocked down the BBs so his K/BB is closer to 2014 than 2015. HE is from Baltimore and went to Frostburg, so there is a local angle on him.
