Reporting live from the stadium. It's a good day to play two. But one will do. I am behind the Nats dugout but well back in the section have a blue Curly w Nats hat if you see me. And a green Aloha shirt. Hey. It's what I had packed. I see a couple of hard core Nats fans below me in blue Nats shirts. I know they are hard core cause one guy has a Jamie Carroll shirt. My goal is to move down there. Unfortunately Dan Kolko is in view.

Is this a joke.  If Turner isn't in the lineup I'm going to seriously lose it.

I love it,,,, lets bench Turner and Werth for the 3rd game after being embarrassed for the first two.  The only 2 hitters who are actually able to do some damage against his powerhouse pitching staff.

I'm going to be pissed. We're going down 1-2-3 against a lousy pitcher who served up 7 runs in only 2 innings in his last start.

One of the worst offenses we've ever had and that's saying a lot.

Former Reds manager, Dusty Baker, is intentionally trying to lose the game. Just as Davey Johnson admitted that he was still an Orioles fan, and put forth a horrible effort to beat the Orioless.

Maybe Dusty knows some local bookies or has friends in Cincinnati that want him to throw the series.

If the Nationals lose this game, Dusty should be suspended, without pay, for one week.

Replays should be reserved for really important impactful plays. Getting a runner on 1B with 1 out in the top of the first is a waste (unless the decision is a slam dunk). It's not like this team is going to take advantage of a base runner anyway. They should probably be used to challenge defensive outs.

When Taylor came up to bat the lady behind me said this guy looks tiny. I corrected her and said its just his head that is really small. Was pleased he did not strike out.

I'm fairly convinced that Bryce Harper's career is nearly over.  He likely won't ever hit another homer, might run out a couple of infield hits between now and when he gets sent down and fades away in obscurity.

when I came through security the guy asked how I liked our new manager. I said just fine when compared to the last one. He just chuckled.

Roark will predictably get lit up like every other ace on our staff, and we proceed to be shamefully embarrassed in a 3 game sweep.  Any other team in MLB and half the AAA teams would have score 10 runs in each of these games without breaking a sweat.  These were complete gimme games and he Nats blew it.  I knew after the first game this would be a sweep and the beginning of a downward spiral never before encountered in professional sport.
