Incredible splits for Harper. What was it, .170 with a .458 obp in his last 19?

Did F.P. just call David Wright "Revere", or am I hearing things?

I love Zim for what he's done for this organization over the years. But is he not possibly the worst middle of the line up offensive player in Major League Baseball history?  He's absolutely atrocious!

Dave Kingman at least hit a ton of bombs to drive in runs.

Lawdy that sequence reminded me of the Ramos GIDP last night.    Two on  ...  weak grounder to 2nd ended the inning.
Speaking of the Ramos GIDP last night it was brought up in the game thread which pitch it was on. I ran through the game earlier and it was on the 3rd pitch to Ramos. Count was 1-1. So there were three pitches where they could have sent Rendon.

His hair is better than that thing Colon wears.

Kingman was not very good.  And was terrible defensively.

I wonder if Zimm would be better off adopting a stance like Murph's.

Willie Stargell and Kingman hit the highest HRs I have ever seen.

Pops hit one over the roof in right at Forbes.   Still shudder thinkin' about that one.

Keeeeriste, I googled that to make sure I wasn't mindfacting.    There were 18 homers hit over the roof in right in Forbes' history (60 or so years).    Stargell had 7 of 'em.

He could certainly stand a little closer to the plate. He stands absurdly far away
