Just because I'm salty:  Ben Revere, offensive savior.

Cubs love day games.  If only they could have reanimated Harry Caray and had him drunkenly mumble "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" while Lou Piniella screamed at some umps and Corey Patterson swung through innumerable fastballs while running very fast to exactly the wrong place to catch the ball, it would have made a Classic Cubs Day.

Cubs fan were really nice and knowledgable here. Disappointing loss but I'm confident we'll grab tomorrow's game

I think that Werth, Zimmerman and Scherzer all want raises, because they are not making enough $$$ in exchange for their lackluster performance....maybe a bigger paycheck would motivate them....wait....they already get a huge paycheck, in exchange for nothing....now that's a great deal (for them).

I remember when they finally put up lights in the late '80s. Crazy.
Cubs love day games.

Don't know what anyone else expects. Cubs are solid (and young) and we're soft offensively (and old). Too bad but that's the situation.  :couch:

Nothing micro about it.  :poke:

I don't appreciate that micro aggression. :stir:

I would have expected 2-2 this series.  Teams aren't that far apart really.

As far as record, sure.  When it comes to coaching philosophy, team makeup, and the like... we're pretty far apart.

That Taco Bell commercial is BS.  When they zoom in close on that guy wearing "salmon" in bear country, he's clearly adorned with Morone saxatilis and perhaps other species not found in salmon migratory streams.

I was going to post the same thing but you beat me to it.

I agree. A 2-2 series is still possible. It hinges on tomorrow's game.

The difference is the Cubs lineup top to bottom doesn't really have the fatal flaws that ours does i.e. Taylor and Espinosa(I know Taylor has been replaced by Revere now but a still rusty Revere is probably going to be about on par with Taylor for the next several games). Cubs have I believe four guys hitting over .300, we have two. They don't have anyone I don't think hitting under .200, we had two and it was three but I believe Werth has crept up past that now.
