that sounds logical. It's a bad enough suspension to hurt Chapman, but not cost him a year. MLB looks tough, MLBPA doesn't have to push the issue on appeal and get bad pr. On the the flip side, MLB doesn't risk looking ridiculous if an arbitrator over turns a decision on appeal and Chapman doesn't risk losing a season. Seems like a rare win win
