If I was the NFLPA I would worry more about the non guaranteed contracts in a sport where guys don't last very long. That effects everyone. The discipline is arbitrary but only effects a few the vast majority of whom did the crime.

Well yeah, they agreed to both. Say to hell with the owners, their stadiums, all that -- walk out till they get paid.

It doesn't matter if union members can't sit out a season- the mlbpa is strong because they have no problem missing games, nflpa is weak because rank and file don't want to miss a pay check

They need to have a huge labour disruption over guaranteed contracts. A year off. Just for that. It benefits all of them.

It benefits long term guys, but the guys who only have a year or two left are going to vote to play, so are the guts living pay check to pay check, those two groups are probably a majority of union members

Is his backup J. Garofolo or Garopolo?

According to a report, the 26-year-old linebacker allegedly punched an employee at the Hilton Bentley hotel last week because he was upset at the worker for taking too long to bring an umbrella he had paid for.

Any details?   ESPN sez it's field conditions.    When I read VaRK's original post, I was thinking ISIL or some such BS.   Pretty sad that's what comes to mind.

Bullcrap. How can the NFL allow this to happen? Or was this done on purpose to get out of having to play the game?

Field was reportedly wet when they uncovered it from the Friday concert.  They then reportedly applied the wrong paint and it turned into a glue like substance.
