"max effort" when describing Hudson, but not Dunning? Seriously?

Here's Dunning in a relief spot. 92-95 on the FB. Only see the CH twice (buries it, but looks like a purposeful pitch -- would like to see more). Decent command. Better delivery than I thought at first, but he's definitely a thrower.

He's a spot starter for them, and some of the scouts think he'll be a SP. Check out the BA report that Houston put up
Midweek starter on a loaded Florida team.

Here's another one. IDK. He's a college arm, so you're not looking for much more upside, TBH. We'll see. He's a Nat now, so I'm rooting for him (and UF now, I guess!).

As a guy that watches some Rox games, I'm liking their draft. Exactly what they need to do (draft any and all power arms).

Kieboom is a solid pick, although I was strongly in the Wentz camp.

Not too enamored with the Dunning pick. He's not really a late inning guy, and as a starter, he's a back end of the rotation kind of guy. And that's no guarantee. I'm hoping he's an under slot guy and thst allows the cash to be used on a later pick but we'll see.

I wouldn't call him a Johansen pick though. More in the John Simms mold imo, with a bit more upside. Johansen was all raw power. Great size and heat. Dunning has nowhere near the raw tools or upside, but has a much better feel and command.

Related to Carson Wentz?  If so a big year for that family.

Hey, good points on Johansen. It was just the first that came to mind -- a college arm, overdrafted and projected/used as a SP with the Nats. Jake definitely had a bigger arm. I just don't like drafting a college arm as a "project." A college arm should be damn near close to done with tinkering

Scout I talked to based in this area laughed when I mentioned Johansen and said that to most people here, Johansen was a wild thrower who was never much of a prospect at all.

Another not-so-exciting pick.
