Could do without Beyoncé.
(Image removed from quote.)A man found the only known video of the first Super Bowl in his attic, where the Green Bay Packers beat the Kansas City Chiefs in 1967. It's on 2-inch tape. The networks destroyed their own copies years ago. Because the NFL owns the copyright, the man can't sell it to anyone else. He and the NFL can't agree on a price, which is rumored to be at least $1 million.http://money.cnn.com/2015/02/01/media/super-bowl-i-missing-tape/index.html
Is that who that is?
That was pretty sad...
I was flipping channels last weekend and they had that game on. I almost fell out of my chair because I had heard too that the tape didn't exist. But somehow, they aired it. I've seen every one except for one, a few years ago we had a blizzard that buried my dish and I didn't find a place to be. But as an avid 8 year old fan I was all over that Packers - Chiefs match.
Wasn't the first one on NBC and CBS?
Live or lip sync? Most people on here never like the halftime show... That's as reliable as the ground hog's predictions.(Image removed from quote.)
There's your dogs, skip.
I like Beyonce.
yup... and they BOTH destroyed their tapes of Super Bowl I.
her songs and dancing have just gotten so disjointedly weird to me, I don't like her at all anymore.
We thought the NFL Championship was the big game. Packers / Cowboys. Wherever they played the first SB (and the second), the stadium was only about 1/2 or 2/3 full.
Joe Willie made the Super Bowl.
