TPC Scottsdale (Waste Management) is on the schedule this week.    The famous pr 3 #16 with 30,000 fans.    On Golf Channel as I type this.

I was one of the first in line with a pre-printed ticket.    :)    A lot like bike shows, it doesn't take long to make the rounds.    After you've been to a few, you know what you like and what to avoid.    I really dislike the hard sells/hands out with flyers, etc.  but am polite.    I enjoy the "lessons" on the main stage and watching folks putt/long drive/test equipment.   I usually make a round through the Rock Bottom Golf display.      Helps make ya think golf and not "packages"/"clubs"/etc.    Funny thought standing there watching the putters.   I noticed most folks had some semblance of golf gear on (Titleist hat, sleeveless sweater, khaki pants, shirts with a "clooob" name/emblem on it and the like).     Reminded me of bike shows with the usual regalia (chaps/leather/boots, t-shirts, etc.).     SOS  DWD

Like the gun shows...guys in camo fatigues, "tactical" patches, and even some with western duster ovecoats and hats.  Yeah, one pass thru with quick glances, and if nothing catches my eye, all I go home with is a hand stamp.

I've been to one gun show (other than the Army :)).   I was very uncomfortable.     There's something unsettling about a bunch old white guys with weapons.    I do my weapon lookin' online or at my buddy's house.

You won't find anyone armed at a gun show...they don't allow loaded weapons.

The get ups are enough to make you LOL...and I have done that more than once.

The guys in the Sansabelt slacks can be scarier...  :D

Fowler and Matsuyama going to a playoff.     Learned something today.   Fowler's Grandfather is Japanese/American.

Did you see that tee shot on 18?  How come my shots never bounce out of the bunkers?

I did.    My drive would have been 150 yards short of the trap (:)).
