We are on that front but I just don't like Gholston. He gets pushed around and has maybe a handful of good plays per season. That's not enough to justify a roster spot in my opinion. He makes Espinosa look competent.
We agree that he isn't a sufficient starter.

In your opinion do you think Skins have convinced themselves they have tools in house to improve run defense or did they strike out this offseason? There has to be a reasonable medium between players like Damon Harrison/Haloti Ngata and Hood/Reyes.

We agree on that but we disagree that he's a serviceable back up.

It was the equivalent of an Espinosa AB. There is no way they believe they have the pieces to improve up front. If they do believe that then we have a problem.

Fair. I could buy this line of "versatility" and "nose tackles are extinct" had they kicked ass last year but instead they're saying we can improve after removing our least bad run stuffing defender. On the offensive side I could buy internal run game improvement from the a more experience offensive line and running backs plus the passing attack scaring defense. No such thing on the other side.

I've liked a lot of moves past couple offseason but the front seven has been mostly ignored other than the Galette signing.

I would feel better about the running game if they had brought Pierre Thomas back but he's sitting at home trying to get paid.

I do know that defensively they go with a lot of 2 man fronts but I would still feel better with a quality stout run stopper at the NT position.

I bet we'd kick everyone's ass in 7 on 7.

Maybe they should do that instead of the Pro Bowl

Reports I've read on Treadwell haven't been great. He is on the field though so that counts for something.

I'm not sure whether I should be encouraged or not that they convinced him to not retire.

Apparently he said he was going to retire after the trade was announced.

He's only 25 so that gives me pause on this move.

How big are his hands? I mean, you use the Brady measurement up there, so 2.5? :D

he's very good, but always seemed to be hurt.
