Josh Norman was excellent last year-if he keeps up that level of play for a couple more years he'd be a good signing, no?  Excellent corners are pretty important I thought?

Highest paid db doesn't fit his MO? tell that to Sherman or Chancellor

There is a difference between resigning your own and signing some other team's guy off a one year wonder.

Also, McC was not the GM in Seattle when they signed those contracts.

So what you're saying is that he doesn't have an MO?

McCloughan didn't give them those contracts. He left Seattle in April 2014 and Sherman signed in May. Chancellor Got 4/28, which isn't highest paid and he's already nagging about it. Furthermore, both those guys were 26 when they signed.

time for these stories to start up again

In that vein, the Redskins should refrain from the use of "New York" of Jersey's Football Giants.

Scotty the Hotty knocks it out of the park again. Best shut down CB we've had since CB. Never should have let him go. Glad to see we've moved away from the era of "ballhawks" and now have two really good shutdown CBs. Now Scotty needs to draft Ryan Kelly and form the second coming of the Hogs.
Hail!

Would be happy with Ryan Kelly or any DL not named Robert Nkemdiche. Do not want a WR.

What if teams were stupid enough to pass on Elliot and the Redskins grabbed him.

Nope. I'm hoping Fuller slips down to them.

He was available to them if they wanted him.

Does the signing of Norman signal that they don't believe Culliver will be ready to play or perhaps may not be able to get back to the same level of production after this latest injury? I can see him getting cut.

I like the Doctson pick. Now we need to address the DL.

We need to cut him. I don't think he fits our scheme well at all.

What the freak are they doing? Are they counting on Long/Lauvao/Kouandjio?

You don't draft for need. The draft is for amassing young talent that you can build your roster with for the forseeable future. When you draft for need you end up reaching on guys who aren't as good and sacrificing the total talent level of your club.

And to be honest, we absolutely do need secondary help as well. Culliver and Jarrett are both coming off injuries. Hall is an aging converted CB turned FS. Cravens gives us a SS/ILB hybrid who can do it all and Fuller is a 1st round talent had it not been for his knee injury.

Luavo was hurt pretty badly. Don't see him contributing this year. Callahan seems very high on Kouandjio, I trust him more than myself when it comes to the line. If anything, we need to upgrade at the C position.

I'm agreeing with you on this. They must not like the talent pool of this draft because they have traded out of spots twice and got nothing but 5th and 6th rounders for next season in exchange.
