Sorry, Skippy, I wasn't trying to pick on your post. It doesn't surprise me at all either that an 83 year old woman had a heart attack after her daughter died.

I was just feeling empathy for Todd. That's a lot to go through in a couple of days. And chances are good that he was a buffer in the dysfunctional mother/daughter relationship, so it's probably a really difficult time for the poor guy.

Yea that was unfair, it's obviously awful for him to lose his sister and then his mom but I can understand dying of a broken heart if God forbid I ever lost one of my kids, it just didn't surprise me I guess.  I don't know, I recently had a death in the family so my judgment is probably completely screwed up so I'll just shut up now.

We've been watching the original Star Wars movies this week as a tribute to Carrie Fisher.  Now I'll have to throw Singin' in the Rain in the mix.

I hate 2016.

Lavell Edwards coached a few great ball players:

His teams also had some of the greatest quarterbacks in BYU history, including Jim McMahon, Steve Young, Ty Detmer and Steve Sarkisian.

Because 2016 hasn't been cruel enough, the inventor of the red solo cup has died.

The Boulder County Coroner's office says it offered to test Salaam's brain for chronic traumatic encephalopathy, or CTE, but his family denied consent, citing religious reasons.

It was fairly obvious, given the note and all, but good DD from BoCo. Very sad story. A lot of local guys interviewed afterwards on sports radio and mentioned they had just lost touch with him.
