I remember being up by eight or so against Duke with 18 left and losing.

This team is the best MD has had in quite a while.

Sure is. Improving over the course of the season, too.

MD looks like a one seed.

Nice win for VT after losing five straight. 5-6 in ACC is not bad especially when considering they ha only two conference wins last year.

Good win for GW also over VCU--sorry Mitlen.  Not  sure they will get in tournament without winning the conference but this win helps.

They really play well together.    They're startin' to nail down some big wins over ranked teams.    Could very well be a one seed.

I think we can get there if we win-out in the regular season and/or have a great big ten tourney run. I'd be cool with a 2 seed.

We still are insanely inconsistent and make a lot of dumb mistakes especially on the road, but the talent is there and our defense has gone from atrocious to elite in just a few months.

Other B1G teams complaining about the Terps' heavy balls.

Quote
The University of Maryland, which has a lucrative blood oath with Under Armour, has been drawing the ire of some opponents who feel the Under Armour ball has a noticeably different weight and feel. After a loss on the road to Maryland last month, Iowa guard Peter Jok told reporters that the ball felt “weird,” and that it was “heavy like a street ball.”

Are heavy balls as bad as an enlarged prostate?

I stepped away.   Came back with about a minute in the half.    Certainly surprised.

For JCA, the Princeton-Yale game is in ESPN 3 tonight. Yale would really be in the drivers seat with a win. I hate Princeton so will cheer them on.

Yep. Three generations of the family went to Penn including Dad. They wait listed me. Basketball program has fallen on hard times.

I was watching Temple/Villanova the other night thinking about the Big 5.

Not quite the same with the games not all in the Palestra.
