Radford. Man does that bring back some great memories, mostly of Muse Hall and Quadfest.

Absolutely fantastic game. Radford had it won at the end of regulation and the first OT but Georgetown kept coming back, then after missing two free throws at the end of the second overtime that would have put Radford ahead, Davis hit a three with 1.5 seconds left after Georgetown missed a shot of their own.   Georgetown didn't seem to want to play defense most of the game.

Thanks
No problem.
Was disappointed in GW last year. Maybe they can hang in there with a top ten team?

Who's the analyst?   Sounds like Calhoun of UCONN.

Me too. That accent hurts my ears.

Didn't realize this is the tip off marathon. Games all night and day tomorrow.

Calhoun needs to be in a three person announcing team so he talks less.

It might be OK if I could understand what he was saying.

Doesn't seem like it will be much of a game. Top team vs one that lost to Radford (who were subsequently crushed by VCU).

Either Georgetown is very over-hyped, or this game could be close. I think they just sh!t the bed in a double OT loss to Radford.

Meanwhile, Maryland, while ridiculously talented, doesn't seem to have must chemistry.

Haven't seen either team play yet; last night's game was a good one.  Would be nice if those four teams could match up at Verizon each year.  What happened to that doubleheader they used to have at Verizon each year?

It wasn't in Georgetown or Marland's best interest to get beaten.

The way the tournament committee is now teams are better off playing tough games and losing rather than playing cupcakes.  The Gtown loss to Radford could haunt them all year.

as well it should - if you want to play a cupcake, don't lose. I think everyone would rather they schedule a quality mid major - it's a better game and it gives the mid major a chance for a quality win, the payoff for the major team is that the loss doesn't matter very much in the committee's eyes

If Georgetown played defense they would have crushed Radford, the few times they pressed Radford coughed up the ball, and then Georgetown fell back into man or zone, giving Radford the opportunity to sink 3s.

Big Terps fan. Not sure I can watch. Nothing gets my heart rate up like Maryland basketball in games they "should" win.
