Unassisted Triple Play Today by Colorado's SS
« Topic Start: April 29, 2007, 05:23:06 PM »
Atlanta had men on 1st and 2nd who took big leads.  A line drive was caught by Colorado's shortstop, Troy Tulowitski, for Out #1.  He then tagged 2nd for Out #2, catching the runner who was almost at 3rd base, but had to come back.  He then ran about 2 yards for Out #3, to tag the runner who was almost at 2nd base, who needed to get back to 1st base.  The home crowd in Colorado went wild.  There have only been 12 UNASSISTED Triple Plays in baseball history, so you might want to check it out on ESPN's Baseball Tonight later tonight.
