A least McRae touched the bag (yes, it was worse).  Utley should be suspended as long as Tejada is out, plus  two games.  Utley I don't think has touched the bag yet.  It was pretty ridiculous in terms of lateness. Hand touches the bag, I don't really have a problem with it.

I was in Philly...once.  I took a wrong turn looking for a gas station and ended up in Camden.

REALLY? I hate Utley as much as the next Nats fan. But to more, that slide was no different than 100s of other slides that happen all season long. Certainly no worse than Coghlan's slide into Kang. But it was on National TV and Tejada got seriously injured.

Illegal? Sure, it's text book interference. But it's never enforced. Unfair to penalize Utley with a suspension now.

It was dirty in that it was late and Utley didn't even come close to the base. But there was no intent to injur. In fact, Tejada is mainly responsible for that. He spins when he shouldn't have and puts himself in a much more vulnerable position. No suspension necessary, simply enforce the rule that exists. If you have to review it then review.

Every player has a responsibility to protect themselves. We've certainly given Harper enough crap about over the years.

If he drags the foot across the base like you're supposed to, he probably doesn't get hurt. He also gives himself the opportunity to fall down on to Utley, with his elbow leading the fall directly in to Ultey's nose.
