That Kris Bryant TOOTBLAN reminded me so much of the Nats.

Crushed.    Sounds like a lot of Cubs' fans (or is my hearing aid on the fritz again).

I see a ton of black but it does sound as though there are a bunch of Cubs fans there.

Probably a good thing we didn't make the playoffs this year.

No way, once you're in anything can happen.  I'd rather be in any day than have no chance at all :(

Actually grew up on the far Northside.  It all goes back to one kid in school who was the ultimate, intolerable Cubs homer.  I hate them because of him...

You mean like all Cubs fans?  I liked the Cubs as a kid (family still owns a house on Waveland) but I hate the goddamn Cubs "fans".  As much as I dump on the DC Vortex for being a needledick filled cesspool there are few things worse than Cubs fans.  Just absolutely the worst.

My sister is in her office in Australia bouncing off the freaking walls right now - she rode her bike to work extra early to catch the start of the game.

One of my favorite moments this summer was Father's Day   ....   Nats' destroyed the Pirates.   It was a day game.   What fun it was to watch the Pittsburgh fans in black gear.    "Hey, how's that black tee shirt workin' for ya?"

Sorry, Mitlen :(

I've been over the Bucs for a long time (1994).   I still follow 'em and want them to win non-Nats' games.    When they win, the holidays at my sister's house are more relaxed.

My buddy and I used to do the same thing to fellow bikers who wore black (and chaps on occasion) in the summer.

Yea I know you're a Nats fan first and foremost but still, it's nice when you have some type of rooting interest in the post season. I really have no reason to continue to watch other than the fact I love this stupid game, couldn't care less anymore who wins honestly.  As long at it's not the Cardinals

I've liked this game a long time.     I might pull for the Cubs.   They still haunt me from the 50's and 60's.
