Congrats Max!  What a weird season for him, but we certainly can't argue with the finish.  There are definitely reasons to be excited about next year.  It's stupid, but the Mets and Nats are both +69 in run differential for the year.  Comes down to tomorrow heh!

Lots of Dominono's this year. I think this is what, 6? 7?

I've seen all three on tv, no other was this dominat.

Same and agreed.  It felt like K after K after K.

I guess Max's pattern is to almost throw a no hitter one start, then the next start throw a perfect game that gets ruined by one person.

Ray Knight compares Scherzer to Walter Johnson---same release point.

First one I've seen anywhere.    :P
I was at J Zimmnn's last year. That Souza catch.... UFB.

But two in one year? And THAT CLOSE to perfection both times?

C'mon Man....

Usually, you make an MLB.com account and have to log in a mlb.com/dominono at 3:00 the next business day and be one of the first 20,000 people and you'll get a code for a free pizza.

For whatever reason, Domino's isn't giving coupons for this no-hitter though. They've done it for all past ones this season.

Can ya hear the Mets' fans being jerks.    :)

Yeah at the end of the game when the sidelines interview with Max was about to start I heard some guy yell "Washington Sucks!" Um Yeah OK if they sucked why did they just No-Hit Y'All? (and beaten you two games in a row?)

I heard 'Get off the field jerk' as Max celebrated.

I want the Mets to be swept.

Johnson seems more of a side-arm pitcher. Max more of a 3/4 arm. Here is a sample of Johnson:

If the Nats win or the Dodgers win tomorrow then LA clinches home field advantage in the NLDS.

They looked red and swollen. Probably from the cold or post game celebration.

Wow two no nos in one season. Incredible.

But all yesterday's game does is frustrate me more. We could have had such a special season but we threw up all over ourselves in every big spot.
