He FLEW down the basepaths yesterday, it was impressive to watch. I love having guys with speed, they can just completely terrorize the opposition. We got ourselves our lead off hitter for the next decade.

He's not as fast as Byron Buxton.

We've talked about it before. Treated supposedly ran a faster 40 time at NC State than Hamilton. It'd be fun to see these guys sprint against each other. Imagine Burns, Dyson, Hamilton, Trea, and Gordon running against each other. I'm doing your job, MLB. Perfect thing for the ASG

Maybe, but speed can't kill if you can't hit or get on base.

Reminds me of Bob Dernier. Hope he can hit better than Bob.

Maybe Drew has good #s against Samardjza or something. He's typically hit well when inserted into the starting lineup.

He's played a lot lately. I think they wanted to get Difo a couple at bat while he's here and they want to also give Revere some time out there. May as well against a lefty. Scherzer is on the mound, so the Nats need to focus on defense. A couple runs should suffice.

Drew on DL. Difo at SS tonight and Clint at 1b. Wish I knew all this before I set my fandual lineup tonight!

Why does Dusty not trust Turner to be a every day player yet, he might be the 3rd most important bat in the lineup with his wheels

So angry! Drew injured, Espinosa gets the day off, Revere starting, and Turner still can't buy a start at short.

Baker likes vets and has said that he thinks that only Blacks and Latinos are fast. :P

Didn't see it here:

Dusty is stacking the lineup with lefthanders against Smardjazizja.

Also maybe getting Difo an audition for other teams.

Makes sense. Turner will probably get in at some point.

My money is on Loby's conveniently timed trip to the DL being cover for a Severino showcase too. Difo, Severino, ? And/ or ?? for ??? Remains to be seen.  But Difo is in there as trade bait for sure.

Too bad it's true. Baker does like vets and he did say that Latino and Black players were faster. http://www.foxsports.com/mlb/story/dusty-baker-makes-race-sensitive-comments-about-latin-african-american-players-120815
