I like ther Pirates and the Cubs in the NL, and I hope whoever prevails in the wildcard game goes all the way. Especially because I hate Cardinals fans.

If they bomb out, the Mets.

In the A.L., I like K.C., then Toronto, but I hate the A.L.

I like the Cubbies and Pirates too but really have nothing against the Mets so I'm not actively rooting against them, unlike the Cards

I also like the Blue Jays and Royals but I don't hate the A.L. '

And now that I've made my preferences known it pretty much guarantees the Cards, Dodgers, Rangers or Yankees are winning it all

I don't hate the Mets. I rather like them. But 3rd most.

I will go for the Buccos in the NL--would never have thought I would do that given how much I disliked them in the 70s and 80s. It's been a long time and they deserve a shot. Really anyone but the Cards. Happy to see Rollins and Utley get one more playoff chance with the Dodgers but they are hard to root for with their bloated payroll.

I was hoping to root for the Astros in the AL but they are fading and only a half game up now on the Angels.

My wife will root for the Cubbies. As a fan of the White Sox growing up in Chicago, I could never bring myself to do that.

With the Nats out, I just don't want the Cardinals to win. Other than that, I really don't care...

Pittsburgh, Jays, Royals, Cubs. A World Series in Wrigley Field would be incredible theatre. I'd be cool with it now that a WS in Nats Park isn't an option.

I live there but don't care for the Twins one way or the other, though Target Field is right by my office and is very nice.

The Mets in the NL, followed by the Pirates. Mainly I just want Harvey to pitch like a freaking god, just to shove it in all the Mets' fans faces who were all butt hurt about the 180 innings issue.

In the AL, the Blue Jays. I feel like fate owes me this. A long time ago, there was a Game 6 of the World Series that I watched as a young lad. Well, watched most of. My father made me turn it off and go to bed before it ended because it had run late. He said that the Phillies would win and that he promised he'd let me stay up and watch Game 7, no matter how late.

Joe Carter was walking up to the plate when he clicked the TV off.
