Ump had decided to call him out before ball even got there.

Usually if the ball beats you they will call you out.  But replay is supposed to fix those mistakes yet they don't like overturning calls because it "shows them up" which is total BS.   Replay is meant to get the call right and not intended to hurt the boys in blue's feelings.

which is stupid. It shouldn't be about "showing them up" and it wouldn't be if they weren't so freaking sensitive.
