I'm biased but Clemente' never got the props he deserved.   He often spoke out about it  ..   being Latin and black.

The altitude really takes a while to adjust to, and even then you won't have the same stamina.

Yea he tried to warn me, I should've definitely listened - straight freaking up with no oxygen, and Boulderites passing me left and right with their dogs, so embarrassing lol

I had a buddy in Utah and we did a few of the 12K footers (mostly coming down).    We trammed up and it was rough.    Leg muscles burned like hell.

I hiked 150 miles in ten days in New Mexico, a Very long, long time ago.  I'd probably need a med flight out after the first day now.
